Mauritius: Increase in the price index for consumption in the first quarter of 2014




In his last report, the official body of statistics in Mauritius reveals that the consumer price index rose by 2.3% in the first quarter of 2014.
 
Clothing, footwear, alcoholic beverages, vegetables, rice, milk have seen their prices rise between January and March, 2014, as reported by the Le Défi Quotidien newspaper.
