Mauritius: Illegal nightclubs in the sights of the authorities
The authorities have decided to hunt clubs operating illegally in Mauritius and drain behind a growing noise pollution at the discretion of overpowering decibels.

Since the beginning of 2013, numerous complaints from residents located mainly around these illegal nightclubs of Quatre-Bornes, Beau Bassin and Rose Hill were identified and led the police of environment to get tough against the offenders.

This weekend, a restaurant in Ebene that served as disco after dinner for the guests was controlled and caught in flagrante delicto at around one o'clock in the morning.

Several other restaurants that turn into nightclubs during the night are now in the sights of the authorities who want to move up a gear and crack in all directions to regulate anarchy in the sector.
