Mauritius: Historical Jackpot of 80 million rupees of the Lotto




Launched in 2009, the Mauritian Lotto managed by the company Lottotech, this Saturday, March 29, 2014, after several weeks where no player has marked the six correct numbers, a historic prize of 80 million rupees (1.951.219 euros) for the first place winners. 

Already on December 28, 2013, a retired policeman had won the tidy sum of 77 million rupees (1.878.048 euros) which is for the time being the largest amount ever paid by the national lottery for more than four years.
 
 In addition, Lottotech continues to grow. The organiser of the National Lottery will soon be listed on the official market of the stock exchange of Mauritius. 

The Gamma - Civic Limited Group, at the head of 75% of the capital *, is working behind the scenes to ensure the introduction of its subsidiary on the stock exchange effective in may or June this year. 
 
The Lottotech company thus achieved revenues of 3.2 billion rupees between June 2012 and September 2013, as shown in the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius. 
 
* The State Investment Corporation (SIC) holds 25% of the shares
