Mauritius: Heavy rain showers in the East and the South of the island

Heavy showers are currently watering the eastern and southern regions of Mauritius. Rainfall started in early afternoon of Thursday, 22 January 2015.
The regions of Camp de Masque, Melrose, Montagne-Blanche, Quartier-Militaire and Flacq are particularly affected by these strong rainfall events.
At 13:30, the meteorological Services of Vacoas issued a heavy rains vigilance bulletin for Eastern, Southern and Central Plateau and is valid up to 18 hours.
"The high humidity favors the development of large assets clouds causing heavy thundershowers in some parts of the East, southern and the central plateau regions. Heavy showers could spill over into other areas later in the post midi ", said the station Vacoas.
