Mauritius: Growth of more than 4% for the Mauritian economy in 2014 according to the World Bank




The World Bank has announced last week of its growth forecast for the Mauritian economy in 2014, and that, after 4 years of slowdown in the wake of the economic crisis at the global level that has affected financial state and cash flow of local businesses in Mauritius.
 
The World Bank thus count on a growth of 4.1 % this year because of the slight recovery felt since last year in developed countries will have positive repercussions for the Mauritian economy.
 
On its side with a rate of unemployment which revolves around the 8% and nearly 5,000 graduates registered unemployed, the official body Statistics Mauritius envisages a growth about 3.8% while the Ministry of finance advance sales of 3.7% for the year 2014.
 
The Chamber of Commerce of Mauritius provides in its financial analyses a growth of 3.4% for the Mauritian economy in 2014, as indicated in the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
