Mauritius: Good results for the MCB group with profits of 4.3 billion rupees collected in nine months

For the period covering nine months of year from 1 July 2014 to 31 March 2015, the Mauritius Commercial Bank (MCB) group generated profits of 4.3 billion rupees*, an increase of over 35% of its profits with respect to the same calendar period of the previous year.
More than half of these profits have been accumulated abroad and have been supplied by the nonbanking activities of the group. The MCB action has thus climbed the end of last week on the stock market which has passed its latest positive results on the share price.
The MCB Group's equity have now reached around 35 billion rupees to 31 March 2015.
* One euro roughly equivalent to 39 rupees
