Mauritius: Gabonese President Ali Bongo visiting on the island in mid-October
Gabonese President Ali Bongo, with at his side a strong delegation of around 50 people, will travel to Mauritius as part of a visit from 16 to 18 October 2013.

According to diplomatic protocol, the State of Mauritius will only defray living expenses of three members of the large delegation accompanying the president of Gabon in this movement.

On-site, the head of State of Gabon Ali Bongo will affix his signature on an agreement in principle promoting tourism between the two countries on the basis of tourism campaigns, as indicated in Le Défi Quotidien newspaper.

Ali Bongo also take the opportunity to visit several members of his family who resident in Mauritius, as the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius relates.
