The SSR International Airport seemed almost deserted early this morning, obviously due to the presence of Bejisa in our neighborhood. Around 6:45, the reception room was gradually filling. But twenty minutes later, it was confusion.

Technical problems have affected for about ten minutes the procedures for registration of passengers. Some began to see their face contorted in case it would delay their journey, especially during this cyclonic season.

Fortunately everything quickly returned to normal and the passengers were able to make their registration.

On the other side, all flights of Air Mauritius to Reunion Island were canceled today as the screen showed this morning. Roland Garros Airport remained closed because of the intense tropical cyclone Bejisa. The Sister island went on red alert at 10hrs this morning.

It appears that more than 92,000 homes had lost electricity today, not counting the considerable damage.
