Mauritius: Five camels are the pride of the animal park of Casela

Since Friday, five camels are the pride of the animal park of Casela located in the West of Mauritius at Cascavelle on 250 hectares.
Landed from Kenya three months ago; two males and three females who have a life expectancy of almost 25 years form part of the new attraction of the Wildlife Park, after a period of acclimatization to their new habitat and a mandatory quarantine. In a few weeks, hikes on Camelback can be proposed.
It is to be remembered that Casela World of Adventures Park received from July 2014 to may 2015 some 340,000 foreign and Mauritian visitors. The Park in its new configuration hosts since December 2014 a genuine Mauritian land Safari: giraffes, moose, and Impala, Oryx, lions, hippos, rhinos, zebras and some 70 antelopes.
Animal Casela Park opened in 1979 on 14 hectares.
