Mauritius Electoral Commission: 250 million rupees to ensure the organisation of anticipated legislative elections

While the anticipated legislative elections should take place between 5 November at the earliest and 10 March 2015 at the latest after the official dissolution of the national Assembly last October 6, the electoral commission has at its disposal some 250 million rupees* to organise the upcoming poll.
Thus, the most important part of this budget will be for the imprint of candidate bulletins, to manage the vote centers and payments of allocations of officials mobilise for the occasion, as reported the Le Défi Quotidien newspaper.
As a reminder, 908.190 electors in the 20 circumscriptions of the island and 28.785 in Rodrigues will designate their future deputies who will sit at the national assembly to represent them.
* One euro roughly equivalent to 41 rupees
