Mauritius: Dozens of puppies victims of deadly coronavirus that causes hemorrhagic gastroenteritis
Many puppies have died these last six months after having contracted a coronavirus which continues to spread on the island according to veterinarians.

Canine coronavirus triggers a hemorrhagic gastroenteritis with congested lungs and diagnosed late has killed dozens of puppies, more vulnerable to disease.

The owners of puppies in Mauritius are called at the utmost vigilance at the onset of the first symptoms such as fever, vomiting and diarrhea and are invited to vaccinate their animals, as relates the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
