Mauritius: Construction of navigation channels in the lagoons of the island

The Ministry of Tourism of Mauritius is currently working to create six navigation channels unmarked by buoys, and to facilitate boating in the lagoon of the island and provide the safety of users of the sea.
The work is expected start by the end of this month and should be completed by the year 2016 including the side of Grand Baie and Black River.

The movement of recreational boats arriving at the entrance and exit of the Mauritian lagoons should thus be greatly facilitated, as reported by the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
