Mauritius: Canada in search of Mauritian doctors to exercise across the Atlantic

Canadian authorities are planning to recruit a hundred Mauritian doctors and negotiations are underway to finalise contracts.
Canadians would be particularly interested in bilingualism of these health professionals, as indicated by the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
As a reminder, at the end of last year the Ministry of Labour of the island was expected that the number of Mauritians leaving the island abroad through circular migration could reach 2014 some 5,000 workers.
Thus for many years, it is substantially the sectors of plumbing, welding, electrical and other masonry / shell that drained in their wake the majority of recruitment abroad.
Lawyers, psychologists, accountants, teachers and other hotel managers could also continue this year abroad professional courses including several Gulf countries.
