Mauritius: An individual armed with a samurai threat some police officers came to arrest him and runs away
Since the end of last week, an individual of 43-year old from Rodrigues and involved with several accomplices in a violent aggression by sword against Taiwanese sailors at the Gare du Nord of Port Louis, is actively sought by police who consider the man as potentially dangerous.

The officers from the Police station of Trou-Fanfaron thus invested on Sunday a house in St. Croix, in the north of Mauritius where the individual had been spotted.

But at the time they handcuff him, the suspect grabbed a samurai and threatens the police officers, before escaping and vanish in nature.

Monday, his mare, however, ended after the deployment of a large police operation that has arrested the individual in a clinic in St. Croix where the latter, on methadone treatment, had found temporary refuge, as shown in newspaper Le Défi Quotidien.
