Mauritius: Air Mauritius has obtained a discount of 40% on the purchase of Airbus A350-900
The national airline of Mauritius, Air Mauritius, which has opted in mid-July for the modernisation of its long-haul fleet between 2017 and 2020, with the acquisition of six A350-900, obtained from the European manufacturer Airbus a discount of about 40% on the price of the device.
 
The latter will be bought out by Air Mauritius for nearly 177 million dollars (5.5 billion rupees *) compared to 295,2 million dollars (9 billion rupees) displayed in the catalogue, as reported in the Le Défi Quotidien newspaper.
 
The six A350-900 aircraft as a replacement for the aging Airbus A340 at the end of life of commercial exploitation will be operational on European, Asian and Australian air link of the company Air Mauritius.
