Mauritius: Air Mauritius celebrates its 30 years of service from the island to Paris

November 4, 1984, the first Air Mauritius flight arrived from London took its flight from Orly airport to join over ten hours later the tarmac of Plaisance after a stopover in Nairobi on the side of the Kenya.

30 French passengers were aboard the Boeing 747 of Air Mauritius.

The ticket at that time cost 8,875 francs, or 2,660 euros, with one frequency of flights per week.

Today, Air Mauritius offers 600,000 seats in the year from the French capital, and 17 weekly flights are scheduled during peak season between Paris and Sir Seewoosagur Ramgoolam International Airport.
