Mauritius: After the tragedy in a textile factory in Bangladesh, European textile manufacturers fill their order books on the island
After the terrible tragedy in Bangladesh and the collapse of the Rana Plaza, end of April, housing thousands of textile workers near Dhaka, which has more than 1,100 dead, the European industrial sector operators are turning increasingly to Mauritius, to spend their new orders.

The Mauritian group "Texto" which manufactures T-shirts and polo shirts, with production workshops in Mauritius and Madagascar, got from a German company a consistent order, which will increase by 10% its annual sales.

"2013 will be a good year for us. Our order books are full", said Patrick Lee Chung, manager director of Texto, to lexpress.mu.
