Mauritius: A third evangelical pastor arrested in connection with the investigation of large financial scams
A third pastor was arrested and remanded in custody on Tuesday, following the investigation of large financial scams that have ruined thousands of investors from Mauritius.

The clergyman challenged by one of his followers would have pushed the latter to invest a portion of their savings (100,000 rupees or 2,560 euro) in "White Dot International Consultancy Limited" company currently taken in legal turmoil.

In March, the company "White Dot International Consultancy Limited", located in Port Louis and without legal license to operate financial transactions in Mauritius, is suspected of having organized fraud, estimated at tens of millions of euros, as a Ponzi scheme.

A senior official of the Pentecostal Churches of Mauritius is arrested in late April to have played an intermediary role, especially with hundreds of faithful.

And for other financial companies that practiced the same ploy to fool their customers believe they have invested in a good vein, with an exceptional level of performance; fell into the cracks of justice.

A second evangelical pastor was also arrested. At the head of two financial companies, the second insensitive pastor offered enticing profit margins of 25% per month to its customers.

The money collected was used to power personal statements at Royame-Uni then transit to Hungary and the Czech Republic.
