Mauritius: A tear gas bomb thrown at a private political rally

A private political rally hosted by the alliance *Le Peuple in Nouvelle France on Wednesday night and brought together some 200 people, has been interrupted by the throw of a tear gas canister from a car that fled away.
The tear gas canister hit the yard of a villa and the crowd has rapidly dispersed in distraught when the first effects of the gas showed its consequences.
Two people were transported to the hospital to be treated after inhaling the irritant gas.
Quickly dispatched, the Mauritian police opened an investigation to shed light on the incident of campaign, as indicated by the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
As a reminder, the anticipated legislative elections in Mauritius will take place on 10 December.
