Mauritius: A septuagenarian fatally assaulted during a burglary

A septuagenarian holding a small business would have been killed during a burglary attack in l'Escalier in southern Mauritius, according to preliminary results of the police investigation starts.

The macabre discovery was made yesterday around 16 hours by a teenager of 17 years old, close to the victim, concerned not to see the owner of the small business open his shop in early afternoon.

The teenager immediately gave the alert.
The septuagenarian was found lying in the hallway of his house, with a wound to the head that according to the medical examiner cannot have been caused by a simple accidental dropping.

Money from his pension perceived age, watch and jewelry have also disappeared from the house, as shown in the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
