Mauritius: A seminar on the environmental theme to educate seniors next September

A work shop to educate senior citizens on the environmental theme in the wake of the project Maurice île Durable (MID) which will take place between 15 and 17 September 2014 on the side of Pointe-aux-Sables a few kilometers from Port-Louis.
Frameworks of the Maurice île Durable Commission and the Department of the environment will participate in the work along with associations of third age, as indicated by the Le Matinal newspaper.
As a reminder, within 40 years, the minister of Health of Mauritius previews that only 358.887 seniors will be counted on the island, with a life expectancy of 80 years for women and 75 years for men.
Elderly people represented 12% of the population on the island in 2012, with 154.369 people over 60 years.
