Mauritius: A police officer suspected of amassing 75,000 euros by selling downloaded movies, pursued by the anti-corruption commission
A police officer who is assigned to the police station in Poudre d'Or, in the North East of Mauritius, was arrested on Tuesday, August 6, 2013 by the anti-corruption commission Mauritius (ICAC).
 
The latter have illegally earned 3 million rupees (75,000 euros) over 5 years, selling movies downloaded from the old megaupload site.

Prosecuted under load of money bleaching, the police presented today in the court of Mapou was released conditionally, after paying bail of 50,000 rupees (1,250 euros), as shown the defimedia.info site.
