Mauritius: A police officer arrested for forgery of documents in a case of rape
A chief Mauritian police inspector, with 28 years of loyal service, was arrested Monday morning by his colleagues of the Crime Branch of Port-Louis.

A resident of Chemin Grenier in South of the Island has filed a complaint against him last December and accused him of forgery of documents in a rape case dating the beginning of last year.

The complainant who has been sexually abused by a religious man indicts the police officer and the partiality he showed in this sensitive issue. The latter has reoriented the investigation so that the religious man is not implicated in this rape case.
