Mauritius: A market of Rungis in the Mauritian way in 2017 horizon

The Mauritian authorities are currently working on the implementation of a wholesale market for fruit and vegetables, like the highly popular market of Rungis implanted in the region of Paris. The opening of the structure is scheduled on the horizon in 2017.
Producers and wholesalers will thus be able carry out their trade without intermediaries and purchased product will feed directly supermarkets, hotels and restaurants of Mauritius or any other shops.
The Mauritian government has decided to allocate an envelope of 370 million rupees * for this project.
* One euro roughly equivalent to 39 rupees
