Mauritius: A large residential and commercial zone in project at Cap Malheureux in the heart of the peaceful hamlet

The village of Cap Malheureux located in the extreme north of Mauritius and famous around the world by the red roof of the Church of Notre Dame Auxiliatrice of Christians should accommodate a large residential and commercial area in the coming years.
Located near the coastal road, the new residential area created at Sans Souci in Cap Malheureux on approximately 282.309 m2 will emerge from the its plot 207 accommodation of secondary residence in the heart of green spaces with a total area of 7.474 m2.
Sports and leisure infrastructures will be also built for future residents and for the inhabitants of the region.
The promoter of the project wanted to rely on ecology to achieve his real estate project, with the use announced renewable energy for the production of electricity and also with a collection of rainwater for irrigation in the settlement area.
The recycling and separate collection of waste are also among others registered in the project of the promoter which different applications for permits were filed with the Ministry of the environment, as indicated in the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
