Some forty members have thus confronted each other in the biggest art fraternity of the Mauritian gastronomy table to prepare tasty foods.

Starters, main dishes, deserts and cakes have competed in taste and presentations for the taste buds of connoisseurs of the jury.

The president of the Mauritian Chefs Association, Mooroogun Coopen, which has endorsed his new apron at the head of the association since last May, has invited all Mauritian chefs of the island to join the association which wants to promote the Mauritian gastronomic cuisine.
