Mauritius: A campaign to fight against the Ebola virus in Africa launched on the island

The campaign "Stop Ebola" raise funds for Médecins Sans Frontières (MSF) has been opened in Mauritius on Friday afternoon on the side of Ebène.
It is the society Abax Corporate Services operating in the financial sector on the island which is at the foundation of this campaign.
Daniel Berman, director of MSF in South Africa, moved to Mauritius especially for this occasion.
The funds collected will thus allow MSF to treat people victim of the haemorrhagic fever Ebola and to ensure the operational management of six centers in the three most affected countries in Africa, Liberia, Sierra Leone and Guinea.
The Ebola outbreak discovered in 1976 has placed particularly the West African in a state of emergency.
This fundraising campaign include the general public as well as the Mauritian companies.
The collection began on Saturday and end on 31 December.
Several means have been put in place to ensure that every Mauritian and local business can financially contribute to this campaign against the Ebola virus.
