Mauritius: A Reunionese couple lodges a complaint for having paid ten times the price branded clothes
A Reunionese couple of about fifty years came to spend a few days of holidays in the coastal East of the island has filed a complaint to the police of Belle-Mare on last weekend for having paid by credit card branded clothes (four shirts Dolce & Gabbana other Giorgio Armani and a pants) for a value of 190,000 rupees (4,750 euros), while the store vendors announced their initial bill of 19,000 rupees (475 euros) to which was added the purchase of a suitcase.

It is only once they arrived at the hotel that the couple understood that they were conned, realizing the alleged scam which they paid ten times more than the total amount of purchases and that Hermès bag have been added including the suitcase they bought.

On the day after their purchase, the Reunionese couple sets out again to the shop and managed to get reimbursed 92,000 rupees (2300 euros), as indicated by the weekly newspaper Le Défi Plus.

Moreover, today, the couple claims authenticity certificates for purchases of brand clothing that he has not obtained according to them and alleges that the vendors had promised them a 40% discount on products.
 
From the side of the offending shop the direction contends that all products purchased in their shop are original and when the husband tapped his bank code, he was fully aware of the amounts committed for his various shopping clothes.
