Mauritius: 50,000 new homes connected to optic fibers in 2014

The Mauritius Telecom operator wants to democratize access to the Internet very high speed on the island particularly in the areas of Forest-Side, Port-Louis, Pailles, Triolet, in the wake of pilot areas already served by optic fibers since 2012 on the side of Floreal and Quatre-Bornes, as reported by the newspaper Le Matinal.
As a reminder, Mauritius ranks second in emerging countries regarding accessibility to the Internet behind the Malaysia and ahead of the Brazil and still ranks in second place on the African continent anticipated only by the Morocco.
