Mauritius: 36.309 new voters on the electoral roll




As 2015 is an election year unless an early general election this year with the dissolution of the National Assembly, the electoral commission has accounted 36,309 more voters for the next general elections if they take place after August 16 next.
 
It is thus 936.975 Mauritians registered on the electoral rolls and who will complete their civic duty in the next electoral ballot.
 
The electoral district n ° 5 (Pamplemousses/ Triolet) where is elected the Prime Minister is the one who has listed the largest number of new voters with 3.441 registrants registered (+5.9%).
 
Conversely, it is the electoral district n ° 3 (Port-Louis Maritime / Port-Louis East) who are the lowest number of new voters, namely 430, as reported by the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
