Mauritius: 1,500 social housing built before December 2015 by the Ministry of lands and housing

While the National Housing Development Company (NHDC) in charge of the social estate on the island has for mission to build 1,000 annual housing over five years in Mauritius, the Ministry of lands and housing account of his side for the first time in its history to have the management of a vast project which will lead to the construction of 1,500 houses in one year.
Houses should be constructed before December 2015.
This project was enacted after the Ministry of lands and housing has embarked on a pilot phase of nature size in December 2013, with delivery expected in September, 60 housing, according to the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
As a reminder, to be eligible for the social program of construction in Mauritius, couples with a monthly income between 10,000 (250 euros) and 20,000 rupees (500 euros) must not already be owners of immovable property on the island and deposit a sum equivalent to 10% of the final price of the house.
