Mauritius: 13 ships intended for Mauritian coastguards is currently built in India

The Commissioner of Police, Dhun Ishwar Rampersad, has moved at the end of September in India to supervise the progress of the shipbuilding yard of 13 vessels which are expected to join the fleet of coastguard of Mauritius.
Eleven interceptor boats and two patrol boats of interception controlled by the government of Mauritius are being assembled and joining at the shipyard of Goa Shipyard Limited on the west coast of India, as indicated by the newspaper L'Express of Mauritius.
As a reminder, the shipyard Goa Shipyard Limited is under the responsibility of the Indian Ministry of Defense.
