Maurice île Durable: The inmates of the island are about to cultivate some 10,000 decorative potted plants

The Ministry of Environment of Mauritius and prison authorities have signed an agreement earlier this week for the cultivation of some 10,000 decorative potted plants in the heart of prisons.
A nursery should be established for this purpose towards the establishment of Melrose.
Prisoners will also make ecological bags in the wake of the government project Maurice île Durable.
Thus, to the Commissioner of Prisons in Mauritius, Jean Bruneau, this collaboration will allow inmates to gain experience and showcase their skills and expertise, as reported by the Le Défi Quotidien newspaper.
