Madagascar: Tourist arrivals increased by more than 17% in the first six months of the year 2014 in the island

According to the latest figures of the Ministry of tourism of Madagascar, tourist arrivals in the island are up more than 17% between January and June, 2014.
These are thus 104.513 travelers who visited Madagascar during the first six months of the year against 88.961 tourists recorded last year on the same calendar period.
As a reminder, 255.942 tourists were welcomed in Madagascar in 2012, which nearly 29% went on the island of Nosy Be, and some 198.816 visitors travelled in the island in 2013.
