Madagascar: Tourist Circuit based on the art of Zafimaniry in Ambositra

The Office of tourism of the region of Amoron'i Mania (ORTAM) located in Central Madagascar wants to provide, to the year 2014, Ambositra of a tourist circuit so that the city is no more only a forced passage of transit between the North and South of the island.
The ORTAM thus wishes the town of Ambositra, known to be a Mecca of Malagasy craft and known for his marquetry and his wood carvings, soon to become a place for exploring all aspects of the Zafimaniry art.
The Zafimaniry art takes its name from a tribe of the surrounding forests that served rare species like rosewood and other rosewood.
The fauna and flora as well as orchids and also more than 50 species of medicinal plants from the forest region Amoron'i Mania should also allow the city to seduce Ambositra travelers for extended stays and on-site accommodation, as reported by the newspaper Midi Madagasikara.
