Madagascar: The workforce of the new Tourist Police soon deployed on the coastal island of Nosy-Be

The new police of Tourism placed under the aegis of the Ministry of Tourism and officially announced by the Malagasy authorities in August 2014 will finally be deployed on the ground in two weeks’ time, as announced Malagasy Ministry of Tourism.
This new Tourism Police will be associated with including the tourist guides in tourist regions of Madagascar and at the heart of some big cities of the Big Island. These new police officers will be initially on duty in particular on the coastal island of Nosy Be.
These officers will thus have the responsibility to investigate offenses committed by tourists in Madagascar and also on reprehensible acts experienced by holidaymakers from the Malagasy citizens.
