Madagascar: The investigation of the seizure of 200 million ariary in the car of a deputy still stalled

The General of the National Gendarmerie, Mosesy Randrianarimanana has recently announced that the investigators have not yet been able to question the deputy Lanto Rakotomanga in the context of the case of the 200 million ariary seized in her car on June 8.
However, a convocation was sent to her well as a letter passed directly to the Permanent Bureau of the National Assembly. For the time being, the member refused to meet the demands of the military gendarmerie responsible for the investigation.
As a reminder, the deputy of MAPAR * Lanto Rakotomanga, had been the subject, in early June, of a tough immobilisation of her vehicle in a popular neighborhood of Tananarive following a chase with the police. The police had to break the car windows to be able to extract her from the passenger seat that she refused to leave. The police had seized two boxes in the trunk containing the sum of 200 million ariary.
* MAPAR - an abbreviation for "With President Andry Rajoelina"
