Madagascar: The hospital ship Mercy Ships continue to treat free of charge some ten thousands patients

It has now been over seven months that the hospital ship of the American NGO Mercy Ships has disembarked in Tamatave for free medical care of thousands of people.
2,600 surgical procedures have been carried out, and 22,000 dental care were also conducted.
The hospital ship Mercy Ships which has lately extended its lease only leave the Island in one year. 12 new cities will be further visited by medical staff and patients will be provided with care on board. Tananarive in July and ending with Morondava in January 2016 going to Mahajanga, Tulear, Manakara, Mandritsara or Andapa, the logbook is already scheduled.
The Mercy Ships brings particular care adapted to the specific conditions such as cataracts, obstetric fistula, tumors and also cleft lip.
