Madagascar: The Chinese government allocates 300,000 dollars to the national management office of risk and catastrophes

A delegation representing the Chinese government, headed by the Chinese ambassador to the Island has recently allocated to the national management office of risks and catastrophes (BNGRC) financial assistance of 300,000 dollars for human damages caused by the strong tropical Storm Chedza and the other low pressure systems that have affected the Malagasy territory in early 2015.
Chedza came to pass Madagascar on 16 January and killed more than 75 people, made about thirty wounded, nine persons missing and some 162,777 homeless.
The South West of the country has also been affected by the meteor Fundi in early February. Madagascar was also known in the earliest days of heavy rains in March in the wake of tropical turbulences and that had provoked floods and landslides in the Tananarive region (26 dead and some 60,000 victims).
