Madagascar: Reviewing the downward IMF forecasts economic growth in Madagascar

The International Monetary Fund recently lowered its growth forecast for the Malagasy economy. While in April the IMF predicted 5 % growth, today, there is an increase of 3, 5 % of GDP in the Great Island, which is advanced.
The IMF also highlights that growth could be even lower this year in the wake of the consequences of the strike of the national airline Air Madagascar, the difficult political climate between deputies and president.
The energy crisis in Madagascar is also noted. All these recent settings have not been well evaluated to establish the new forecast of the country's economic growth.
