Madagascar: Pakistani ophthalmologists in the Island for free treatment of cataract

The Ahmadiyya Madagascar association organises a series of free consultations from October 30 to November 8, 2014 within the Ophthalmology service of the Hjra Hospital in Anosy for a hundred patients suffering from cataract.
An operation which was launched by the Pakistani practitioner Atif Mamhoud and his team among other generalists and anesthesiologists and which aims to reduce the prevalence of this disease.
As a reminder, the rate of blindness in the Island is estimated at about 1% of the Malagasy population.
