Madagascar: Over 156,000 sinister identified after the passage of tropical storm Chedza

The last official assessment of the transition from the strong tropical storm Chedza over Madagascar on January 16 reported 69 deceased, 37 injured, 9 missing and some 156,665 homeless.
3,442 houses were flooded and 357 schools have been severely damaged. Forty roads were also cut and six bridges and rafts have paid the price of the meteor that struck violently on the Island. Over 1220 zebu were also lost in this natural disaster.

As a reminder, gusts of over 130 km / h and torrential rains were recorded during the passage of Chedza on the Island. Chedza struck on Friday, January 16, 2015 hitting hard Morondava, on the West Coast before going out the next day in the afternoon in the south-east of Madagascar.
