Madagascar: Over 100 million dollars to install digital televisions in the island

The passage from analogue to digital in the wake of the implementation of digital terrestrial television in Madagascar should be effective in less than one year, as imposed the deadline fixed by the instance of the international telecommunication unit (UIT)
The Malagasy authorities should thus need more than 100 million dollars to install digital terrestrial television in the island.
Thus, between 30 and 40 million dollars should be found for the different numerical equipment, as well as 50 million dollars for the numeration of programs and 60 million dollars for the specific decoders, as reported by the L'Express of Madagascar newspaper.
