Madagascar: Mouse lemur dropped the temperature of its body in the absence of food

In Madagascar, Mouse lemur manages to get past the dry season without feeding everyday by plunging its body into a deep numbness for three or four months.
The lemur measuring the size of a rodent thus makes its body temperature fall by putting itself into a ball and intentionally reduces its overall activity. Mouse lemur spend less energy and can when it wants raise its temperature to leave in search of food in the primary forests of Madagascar.
A team of German researchers from the University of Göttingen has recently put forward this rare feature that is observed on 1% of mammals (primates, rodents, bears etc.) and four birds out of 1000.
