Madagascar: More than 3.1 million euros available from the COMESA to foster the creation of businesses in the Island

According to the Malagasy presidency, funding of about more than 3.1 million euro might be used by the Island to support the creation of businesses in the country.
Madagascar is thus currently eligible for the granting of this funds from the COMESA (Common Market for Eastern and Southern Africa).
According to the latest figures released by the agency of the Economic Development Board of Madagascar (EDBM), 1,034 companies had been registered throughout the year 2014 the Big Island against 945 who had come into being the previous year. This figure is close to that of 2010, when 1,040 companies were registered.
