Madagascar: Marc Ravalomanana would require half of the departments according to an agreement with Jean-Louis Robinson

Marc Ravalomanana, the former Malagasy president deposed in 2009 and in exile in South Africa demanded among others, in Exchange for its support for the presidential election to Jean-Louis Robinson, half of the ministers’ portfolio of the next Government for its movement, specially the coveted Department of Budget and finance, as indicated in the Midi Madagasikara newspaper. Jean-Louis Robinson would nevertheless retain hand on departments of the Armed Forces and the foreign keys, considered to be reserved for the President of the Republic areas.
The candidate of the Avanà party, Jean-Louis Robinson, and qualified for the second round of the Malagasy presidential, on December 20, facing Hery Rajaonarimampianina supported by the current President of the Transition Andry Rajoelina, has already announced during the election campaign that he would appoint to the position of Prime Minister Lalao Ravalomanana and undertook also to a quick return of Marc Ravalomanana in Madagascar in the wake of his eventual election to the highest office.
