Madagascar: Andry Rajoelina, candidate will have to resign before 26 May
Andry Rajoelina, who was drafted as a candidate in the presidential elections of Madagascar, of 24 July, by the Special Electoral Court (CES) after the deadline for nominations deposits, will have leave his clothes as President of the Transition before May 26, and this in 60 days of the first round.
The Minister of the Interior, Florent Rakotoarisoa, also said that the management of the affairs of the country will be assigned collectively to the members of the transitional government, instead of Chairman of the Supreme Council of Transition (CST) candidate himself.

Andry Rajoelina, had announced his retirement in the race for the presidency, on January 15, wanting to "sacrifice himself for the 22 million Malagasy".
An about-face to counter, he said, unexpected nominations of Lalao Ravalomanana, wife of the deposed president in 2009, Marc Ravalomanana and former President of the Republic, back in mid-April in the Big Island, Didier Ratsiraka.
"The application of the wife of the former president is a failure of the word. If the former president presents his wife, it is as if he presented himself", said Andry Rajoelina to justify his surprise candidature at the site application.
