Madagascar: An angry mob stormed a police station, a suspected robber burned alive

The town of Ambilobe town in the North of Madagascar was the scene of violent clashes yesterday, Wednesday, September 4, 2013.

Thousands of angry villagers stormed the police station after the police have refused to give them four individuals suspected of being the authors of a series of bank robberies in the region.

A suspected robber was burned alive by angry crowds. The security forces quickly overwhelmed have made use of their weapons.

One person was killed and six others were injured by bullets. Cars and houses have also been vandalized, as indicated by the site.
