Madagascar: Air Madagascar will serve Marseille in the end of June with a Chartered Boeing 767

The national airline, Air Madagascar, is still subject to operating restrictions in European airspace of any device registered in Madagascar and, since April, 2011.
Thus, the European Commission maintained Thursday, April 10, 2014, Air Madagascar within Appendix B of the blacklist of airlines.
It nevertheless allows the linking Europe with chartered aircraft and crews of air carriers which are not subject to any prohibition.
Air Madagascar has opted for such service, from June 26 to October 25, 2014, Marseille from Tananarive with a direct flight per week, a Boeing 767-300ER leased from the company EuroAtlantic Airways.
As a reminder, the Malagasy in the European sky national airline flights are currently operated with the Airbus A340-300 leased to Air France and with a crew provided by Air Atlanta Icelandic, as reported in the air - site.
