Madagascar: A million tourists on the horizon of 2020




The new Minister of tourism of Madagascar, Benjamina Ramarcel Ramanantsoa, recently announced to reach the symbolic bar of a million tourists arriving in the island on the horizon of 2020.
 
To achieve this goal, Benjamina Ramarcel Ramanantsoa, wants to mobilise village communities including decentralising the tourism sector in Madagascar.
 
The Minister of tourism thus table on sustainable development of cultural tourism with a radiation of Nosy Be and Sainte-Marie Island as levers of these cultural villages evolving.
The Minister of tourism of Madagascar, Benjamina Ramarcel Ramanantsoa, also wishes to emphasise the rural tourism with the recovery of the Zafimaniry art in the region of Amoron'i ' i Mania in Central Madagascar, as indicated by the Madagascar Tribune newspaper.
 
As a reminder, the Zafimaniry art draws its name from a tribe of the surrounding forests serving rare essences like rosewood and other palissanders.
